Below is a list of the locations to be covered by those observing World Earth Healing Day. Please let us know where you will be on the day by filling in the form here, or by sending us an with your name, details of where you will be on the day, and any comments you would like others to read.

If you would like other people to contact you, please state this and include your e-mail address or other contact details. We will not pass these details on to anyone unconnected with World Earth Healing Day, but they will appear on this website until June 21.

NAME: Leigh Tremaine, Diane Manning, and Friends
LOCATION: Avebury, Wiltshire and Glastonbury Tor, Somerset, UK

COMMENTS: We will be holding meditations, prayers, and ceremonies at Avebury Stone Circle for the first linkup time (gather in the circle at 8am), and the second linkup time (gather in the circle at 12.30pm). For the third linkup time at 8pm we will gather on top of Glastonbury Tor at 7.30pm. (We will observe Sunrise on June 21 at 4.57am in Avebury Stone Circle, although this is not one of the linkup times.)

For the first and second linkups at Avebury Stone Circle, we will gather in the Solar Circle, where the Michael and Mary energy lines cross, for meditations that will coincide with the exact time of the Solstice, the Solar Zenith, and the moment when the Total Solar Eclipse is at its peak over Africa. Please bring poems, songs, flowers, crystals, and symbolic items of your choice.

For the third linkup at Glastonbury Tor, where the Michael and Mary energy lines also cross, we will meditate to ground the healing energies across the world as we approach Sunset. We will close with poems, music, and Dances of Universal Peace. If you have any musical instruments, please bring them.

As there are likely to be many different groups gathering to celebrate the Solstice, you are requested to carry a rose so that we may recognise each other and honour the love in our hearts.

COMMENTS: This year a very unique hand carved International Peace Pole will be planted for an unveiling on June 21, 2001, at 7:00 PM. This day is a Thursday, also Summer Solstice, and a new moon. We do have some available parking, but car pool if possible. We will have some finger food and drink, but feel free to bring something if you wish.

This very special Peace Pole will stand over 10 feet after planting 2' in the ground and is about 8 in dia. It is solid Port Orford cedar and was hand carved by local wood carver/artist Totem Shriver. This Peace Pole has 8 language plaques in 8 different languages and a brass Braille plate, all say: MAY PEACE PREVAIL ON EARTH in particular languages. This Peace Pole also has a chunk of the Berlin Wall inlaid as well. Totem does commission work and is taking orders for individualized hand carved Peace Poles. (Believe me, they are magnificent!)

There will be many speakers; talks need to be kept at a length to accommodate everyone. It would help if I can get an approximate total of those planning to attend, as well as those who wish to speak, read, sing, play music, etc. and about how much time they might need. Redhawk will play his flute as well as others, yet to be named (Melody Guy and trio). We will also play Jon Strider's "PeaceSA Work in Progress" written the Peace Pole dedication ceremony in 1999, and to be on his soon to be released CD "White Wings".

This ceremony will take place outside "Yellowmoon Rising" studio in the rose garden located at 29740 Mill Creek Road in Sheridan OR 97378. Phone: 503.843.7466. E-mail: [email protected].

There will be tables set up for refreshments, information, paper, pencils, etc. We have several chairs and benches, and you are welcome to bring a chair or other sitting comforts.

You are welcome to come about 6:00 PM, but be warned, you may be put to work to help prepare for the ceremony. My assistants are Victoria, Wolfrunner and Redhawk. They will probably be able to answer most of your initial questions when you arrive.

This is a simple place. We have septic, so please be aware and use with care. There will also be cans for trash and recycling, etc. Please walk and talk gently. There are four legged Elders as well as two legged Elders about.

If night and weather are good, and you want to visit after ceremony, please feel free to stay a while. We plan to be around to enjoy energy of the day for several hours after unveiling and speakers.

Assist those of us that are completing our paths and assist their families during these times of transition. As the phoenix reminds us of rebirth and for every meeting there is a parting, let us remember this always...so when all is said and done each of us will be able to say to all, "Until we meet again, know that I have loved you well."

Please help us to have courage and take that most important step...which is within to heal the self. For to heal the self is to heal our Mother Earth. Help fear and ego be displaced, allow understanding that we are all one for what would it be like to have no wind under the wings? Remind us all of thy countless... loving angels and guides that give to us beyond measure. Remind us of our unity and help us to realize when another soars... so to do we ascend with them....Help us to release limited view and old structures that are no longer needed on the paths which lie ahead. COMMENTS: I am presently in Gran Canaria and to publicize World Earth Healing Day I have built an exhibition on the side of a road out of all the trash I have found on one of the so many beautiful hillsides here. The Exhibition is entitled, "Your Island is beautiful. Your litter is Rubbish!" I would like to be in Calcutta for WEHD to open the website for the second "People's Summit" which occurs on Sunday 18th November this year.
